Freezer door handle loose, no info available...

Love this fridge however the freezer door handle is coming loose on one side & it does not have screws underneath the handle, as manuals, youtube videos, etc., show. I can't seem to find anywhere how to tighten the screws on this exact model. I'm guessing you have to take the whole door off. the first time i called customer service, they weren't helpful at all, just said they can't give information about issues/repairs that involve screws? Also said they were the only department with product information & they don't have any further information other than what's in the manual, which I have & isn't helpful. Going to try & get another representative on the phone. Of course I have to pair for a repair technician just to tell me how to access a screw to tighten...

Worst refrigerator ever . Bottom freezer has iced up since day one they put a new seal in and it lasted maybe 3 weeks and I open my freezer and it™€™s all iced up again . Now have to wait another week for someone to look at it in the mean time have to deal with iced up food . Trying to get ahead of someone at GE is another nightmare ! Bought the range at the same time oven won™€™t go over 200 degrees turns out whoever put it together had 2 wires touching ! We were with out oven for 3 months . It was ok first 3.5 years and then we started having problems with the ice melting and we eventually had problems cooling Went to Home Depot no help just a brochure Ordered parts to replace tstat and element And it took forever to get parts and that doesn™€™t fix it And we have lost 4 different grocery trips because it was working ok for a few weeks and it would stop cooling Now it™€™s doing it daily We paid over 5000$ and we have everything matching ge but I™€™m really not happy about it and we are looking at other products no help at all

Evaporator leak or blockage, just over 2 years

The evaporator has an uneven freeze pattern which is an indication of either a leak or blockage of refrigerant. The repairman leans more toward it being a leak based on noise. In either case, we called GE to ask for assistance under warranty, as this fridge is just over 2 years since purchase and... we were told that only the Cafe and Profile models have a 5 year warranty on cooling. So just over 2 years of use and our fridge is already out of commission essentially.

Replaced my 30 year old GE side by side, (which still runs fine). Love the extra capacity and ability to see everything. Only issue is ice shoots out on the floor if container isn't placed correctly. I wish there was a type of funnel dispenser for this model. One other suggestion, split the bottom drawer so both doors don't have to open wide to pull out fully.

Ice Maker Broken Upon Delivery

Our ice maker was broken when we received the refrigerator. We™€™ve been trying to get someone out to fix it since then, it™€™s been a month. Costco/GE set us up with a service provider that never answers their phone and their voicemail box is full. Costco doesn™€™t have any more of these refrigerators in stock so I can™€™t return it. Super disappointing. Also the water dispenser is very loud. This is our 2nd GE set and they just aren™€™t made as well as our last ones.

Needed repair within 90 days!

Not happy. I purchased my GE refrigerator along with the matching Range, Hood, Dishwasher and Microwave. After 60 days the Ice Cream was soft. Where I purchased it from said I would have to contact the manufacturer for service. I had to register my fridge to set up service. No contact with a human! GE makes it look like you are scheduling service the next day and then I received a call from the contracted service provider to schedule a diagnostic. Once he looked at it, I was informed the refrigerant was low and the system needed replaced (compressor and drier). OK, Next, I have to wait for the parts to be ordered and received before scheduling the repair! after a week I was able to schedule with the tech TWO WEEKS OUT! So, I pretty much went without a refrigerator for a month with no apology, no loaner, just suck it up! Thanks GE ! The repair is scheduled for today and I don't have any confidence in this or any of my other appliances. The only compliment I have at this point is they look pretty!

This refrigerator was a great addition to my home. It adds convenience to my every day routine, organization for my produce and foods, and overall keeps food fresh longer that my previous unit. I do enjoy the draw divider that can be modified based on space needs as well.
