The enhancements ( Air Fry) have to be activated by internet hook up. This is ridiculous! The burden is on the buyer to get the use of what they have already paid for. We spent half a day getting this issue straightened out by a GE Technician. The light panel is on a timer, so when you need to use the appliance you have to touch the blacked out screen which does not respond readily to your touch. We regret the purchase.

Amazing range but it already needs service. I love cooking on it. The problem is that 1 month after it was installed I found out there is a gas leak in the range. Now I can™€™t use it until the service guy comes in a week. Then I hope he even has the part.

Burners TOO hot

The oven is great, but the gas burners aren't. The heat range is way too hot. Even on low the pot boils in minutes. One burner has a simmer setting, but even at this setting the heat is WAY too hot. Customer service came with a guy who had never worked on this model and he changed out the front controls. No change. Most gas ranges have a screw behind the burner knob that controls the flame, but the repair guy couldn't find such. My oven is on LP gas so the installer changed out the ports. Let's see if GE is interested in helping me. I doubt it.

Honest,reliable, trustworthy range

Here is my rating for the experience that ive encounter with it. Number 1 with the higher price tag with this unit would like to see some safety features like, back lighting knob controls would of been so much better compare with other ranges that have that feature. Other models have it only on the induction ranges wish it would of included with this range as well. 2nd wish they would upgraded easier bearing rolling out trays, compare to the traditional pull out . Has been being caught when taking them out or loading it when using the trays when I place food in it. 3rd The capacity of the overall oven is great but not perfect. Found other ranges have more capacity to be able to use. 4th the screen is great but would like to have seen more modern screen like an LDC display with a cover or foldable screen when not in use . At times when cleaning the buttons are press or the functions turn on when I clean th screen. The connectivity, is easy and simple when using the app foe this range. Wish they didnt have to charge foe everything on the app. Overall of the performance of this range is fair but wish it could incorporate this fitures and it would set itself one of the best piece that GE woild of have in my opinion. Also upon inspection wish they paid little more attention on how they put the sheep metal together. Find it the screw heads or not screwed all the way in or crooked. This are my grips with the range.

DANGER!!! GE Profile Duel Fuel Range - DON'T BUY!!

DANGER!!! GE Profile Duel Fuel Range - STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I had TWO of these ranges and they both were blowing fiberglass through the fan opening from behind the fan. It was the insulation that was flying all over my food! They gave me another one and within 7 months, it was doing the same thing! If you have one, PLEASE heed my warning. If it happened to 2 of them at my home, it is probably happening to ALL of them. I paid over $3,500 for it. You would think it would be perfect! Check to see if this is happening to yours. Shine a flashlight inside of the oven to see if there is anything sparkling. If so, please do not use it! That is fiberglass! They stated that they never saw anything like it before. I believe they don't know what is wrong and do not want to put out a recall on them because they don't know how to fix the problem! The person who came out originally to check it from the appliance store showed me the fiberglass in the back of the oven and told me that it was coming from there and somehow getting sucked into the oven by the fan. (It is a convection oven). Same thing happened with the first range. Please look at my pictures. Enlarge them so that you can see the pieces of fiberglass on the cookies that I was making for our grandchildren. Look at the chunk of fiberglass laying on the bottom of the oven. The short hair-like pieces are fiberglass. Watch the video. Everything that sparkles are pieces of fiberglass.

I hate this stove. Do not let anything spill because it cannot be cleaned without great effort. Stove top or oven. The stove grates do not have bumpers, so the grates scratch the stove top and the stove front sill. Had the stove for 2 years and it looks horrible. I'm a clean freak which is why I'm writing this. And the air fryer, which ours salesman was so sold on only works if you link into wifi. Do NOT recommend. Looks good, but believe me, it is not.

Overall I like the stove. The mechanical controls are very good as too are the digital controls. The only thing bad about this are the oven racks... they are easily pulled out along with cookie tray or baking dish, and if not very careful, falling off the side rails and onto the oven door. There should be a better stop mechanism involving the rack and tracks they glide in. I think this is a fairly major accident waiting to happen.

Putting GE products in my house was the biggest mistake I have ever made. My GE fridge broke first (right when the warranty expired) After that was fixed the fridge broke again. Now I have a broken oven. The screen interface broke on the time change like some Y2K malfunction. I live alone and don't have children so these appliances are barley being used. Please go with another company when remodeling your kitchen.

Nice choice in a 30" dual fuel range

This range, gas stove, electric oven, really has a lot of nice features, and works well in all the ways you would expect of a higher end residential 30 inch range. There are plenty of good things to say, but none would be particularly surprising in a review. I absolutely recommend this range. Heat output is great, burner options are great, preheat time is very good, convection features are useful, temp probe works well, the app works well, and so on. Where a good review can be useful is in calling out those things that are unexpected. Here are the ones I noticed. The under side of the burner grills are rough enough that if you allow them to touch the top of the stainless range when installing and removing them, you can cause scratches. Next, the oven racks don't slide as smoothly as I would hope. Application of a little vegetable oil helps there, but perhaps high heat sliders would be a nice touch. On the positive side connectivity to the app was easy to accomplish, and the range's Bluetooth system can work with an optional Bluetooth probe instead of the wired probe. I like the way the controls allow some burners to switch modes between high heat large area, and smaller area simmer heat. The oven's capacity is what you would want it to be, and with convection modes you have a lot of options for rack placement that will still get multiple layers of food cooked correctly. The look of the appliance is nice. It fits in well, within high end kitchens. I do wish the stainless surfaces were a little more scratch resistant, though.

This range was purchased through Costco, with whom I have had excellent experience with in appliance delivery. The range was slightly tricky to set up on line with the app. Once I hot the range Bluetooth paired with my phone, it has been awesome. We have used it many times in the two weeks we have had the range! Air frying is very good , with no cold spots. Brussels sprouts perfectly roasted jn 8 minutes at 450 degrees. Cookies , sourdough bread baked very well. Browned nicely. Stive top is wonderful with simmer control allowing to have heat on very low, as well as a rapid boil available. There is no available GE backsplash , so we used the old stainless backsplash from our 30 yr old Jenn Air range that died. I took one star away, because the oven vents out hot air into the room, which is fine now in winter, but may make summer baking intolerable, as we do not have air conditioning.

We selected this range when updating our kitchen appliances due to what we feel is the best of both worlds. Love the gas cooktop because cooking with gas is well, the best. Love the electric oven for its multi functionality, regular bake, convection bake, air fry and the ability to use a meat probe. This range replaced a 20 year old GE electric range that was working fine.

Engineers need to improve the surface

Great range. Metal on top of stove near grates scratch REALLY EASILY when you try lifting the grates to clean the stove surface. Poor design by manufacturer. Mine is only 2 months old and has 3 or 4 scratches on the Metal top frame piece from the grates that won't come out. Also, had to have it delivered twice because the first one was damaged inside the box. Took a day off work to be here for the installation. Big investment on my part, time wise. Was very frustrated that GE can't package their appliances better. Makes me wonder about the QUALITY of the product.

Oven racks won't move smoothly, guides scratched

I have had this range for close to two years and have only used the oven maybe a dozen times. Lately the rack started sliding very jerkily along the guides whenever there was any weight on it. It is so bad, my small loaf pans bounce around when I move the rack in or out. After I used it a few days ago, I noticed that there was something white along the guides on both sides of the oven under the rack I was using. I thought it was something that just needed to be cleaned, but in looking closer after I wiped it down, I discovered that the surface of the guides is terribly scratched, and the coating on the rack is non-existent in places. What the heck?!! I've never had an oven do this before, not even my previous one that I used for 18 years. I have no way of knowing if the coating on the racks was defective from the factory and they have scratched the guide in the oven or if something else is going on. The range is no longer under warranty, so what do I do now?

The GE Profile Dual Fuel range was just installed. Beautiful. Looking forward to learning all of the features and putting them to good use. We are familiar with Dual Fuel as this was a replacement to one we had for 20 years. I trust this will last as long.

I like the GE Profile it is simple to operate and is clean and sleek. The griddle made great french toast this morning. Service was great, the installers were super and polite. Also used the broil which worked great. Just got it late yesterday so haven't cook much yet, however looking forward to it.

Honestly, if I could rate this 4 1/2 stars I would. In terms of function it is ROCK SOLID! We previously had an LG dual fuel oven, and the oven thermostat was just completely unreliable. This GE Profile is right on the money. It is a solid "good" in terms of design. The ergonomics and digital panel are just "good". Although I'd definitely buy this again, I just wish it were a more attractive appliance.

So far I've used only basic functions. Love the responsive cooktop with burner sizes to fit any pan. Appreciate having 3 oven racks. Bake and Convection seem to heat quite evenly. I like that the control panel shows the actual temperature as it preheats, so I can judge lead-time better. Can't imagine I'll ever use the WiFi. I am puzzled as to why the griddle insert has a rough (like the outside of a cast iron skillet) finish rather being polished like the inside of a cast iron skillet; seems like foods would stick, although I haven't tried it out yet.

The control panel is too touchy. I was cleaning the stove and even brushing against it makes it go nuts. Turned off. Do you use the child guard? There should be a book with this stove.

I am disappointed with the engineering of the stove top. Oven is great! There is a strip of shiny aluminum is between where the grates sit and above the controls knobs. This area scratches very easily. I was putting my grates back after cleaning and the grate touched this area, not dropped,I was very careful but it scratched. I cannot get the scratch out, and my range is only 3 weeks old.

Overall we really like the range. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because the instructions did not tell us that we needed to deal with some wifi setting just to use the air fry feature. To clarify, we did not want to use the wifi feature nor will we ever use it, but the air fry feature wouldn't work without first hooking up to wifi and changing some setting. Even the helpful person at the support phone# couldn't figure it out since she was looking at the same instructions that we were looking at. The support person had to send us to another person in the tech dept to walk us through the wifi settings - this ended up taking over half an hour. Support folks were very helpful, I guess this is what happens when manufacturers try to load all of the latest software features on what should be a simple appliance that produces heat.

Front left burner was partially defective necessitating a few technician visits, parts, etc. On the plus side, the oven and air fryer feature is great. I wish you didn't need to connect to an app just to use the air fryer though.

Finding a replacement for my dual fuel range was priority number one, another dual fuel. Our new GE stove is amazing! It not offers an extra burner in the center which is perfect for my large canner but has a removable grill/griddle unit, wow! The burners provide way more heat than my previous stove and the controls are so easy to use. My oven has more room and it is large enough to accommodate my Pampered chef pizza stonestone. Love the air fryer option and looking forward to the steam cleaning ability for the oven. Never thought I™€™d find such a perfect unit! Thanks GE!

I love my new GE stove and oven. The burners work well. Different sizes for different jobs. Cleans up easy. The stainless steel still scratches easy. There is ample capacity in oven can bake 3sheets of cookies or 3 pies at a time. The configuration and controls are good. I love the air bake feature. I did notice a sharp edge when wiping out my oven. The oven heats up at record time much faster than my old one. The oven racks are coated so you can leave in when cleaning so glad someone changed this. I am glad too that it comes with self cleaning and steam cleaning. So far a great stove, oven combination with stove bring gas and oven electric the best of both worlds.

We retired our glass top electric range after we became tired of the lack of heat control of the burners and it became nearly impossible to clean the top. Our new dual-fuel range has five sizes of gas burners which give us many options for btuh output and precise control as well as an electric oven that also includes an air fryer. The griddle insert is also a handy feature for pancakes, bacon, steaks etc.

Stinky stove

The spacing on the clock is too close makes it hard to read from 5 to 6 feet away. The control panel itself is too flat and not tapered up to make it easier to use and to see. The smell from the oven when trying to clean it for the first few times is ungodly my whole house stunk for two days finally after cleaning for five times. It doesn™€™t smell too bad. there™€™s no cut out space in the back of the stove so that there™€™s room for the plug when you push it up against the wall. My old G had all of these.
